EVENT PLANNING

Scope Note:
Activities associated with the coordinating of an ECU function, ceremony or celebration held to honour a particular person
or event, held either on or off campus, including events that are coordinated by a third party of behalf of the University.

Use this activity for the planning associated with events such as official openings, public lectures, unveiling's, farewells,
staff functions or other ceremonial events such as fund raising, installation ceremonies, signing ceremonies etc. Also
includes the planning of equity events such as Pride week, International Women's Day events and NAIDOC week, held by
the University.

Use for records such as budgeting, venue bookings, invitations, parking permits, catering and beverage arrangements,
organising of equipment and audiovisual, staff coordination, organising entertainment and / or speakers, signage,
emergency contact details etc.

representative of ECU or as a representative of professional associations where the function is not coordinated by the
University.
