Scope Note: Refers to the granting of official permission to do something where a licence is issued. Includes licences obtained by the organisation for vehicles, software and equipment and stores such as those required for storage of restricted chemicals. Also includes the nonexclusive right given to an individual or organisation to use property within a parcel of real estate, or its improvements, that belong to another person. An example includes the licence for use of University car parks by neighbouring organisations such as the Joondalup Shopping Centre for a specified period. |
