Scope Note: Use for records generated by the ECU Foundation. ECU Foundation has been established to aid and promote excellence in educational and research activities by seeking, receiving and administering private gifts for the benefit of the University and its community. It has its own board and is governed by the ECU Council. If the University is to achieve excellence, pioneer new research fields and assist the wider community it needs to look for funding support from external sources. There are many areas, such as education, palliative care and clinical nursing, in which the ECU Foundation funds valuable advances as a result of external money pledged to the University. |
