Scope Note: The activities associated with being recognized or acknowledged. Includes recognising staff achievement through the opportunity for promotion based on personal merit. TIP Use this activity when invited by external organisations to nominate individuals, workgroups, professionals or the University as a whole for recognition of excellence in a given field or profession. This activity may also be used in cases where the University seeks to acknowledge or recognise individuals (whether external or University employees) for their excellence in a given field or profession, their contribution to society or to the community, or their outstanding contribution to the University. Such prizes may include VC Staff awards for Service, Professionalism, and Enterprise, Honorary Awards, emeritus professor etc. See PRIZES & AWARDS for awards bestowed on students by the University. |
