Scope Note: The activities associated with evaluating student performance in terms of knowledge acquired, understanding developed and skills gained. Includes the management of completed examination scripts and other forms of assessment completed by students including written, oral, performance, assignments, presentations as well as master sets of theses submitted or completed by students for the purposes of assessment or evaluation. Also includes results - reports of grading/marking of individual assessment components such as assignments, essays, theses, (excluding final grade for subject or program) for verification and endorsement, records relating to changes to assessment results - records relating to the distribution of grades, official academic records and transcripts of the marks/grades achieved by a student in the course or program, records relating to appeals, grievances and complaints of examination/assessment results, special consideration requests and outcomes i.e. records relating to special arrangements for individual students during examinations or assessment (for example to assist with a disability or language need), and/or special arrangements for distance education, and remote sites. |
