Items of equipment include instruments, implements, tools, machines, plant, furniture and furnishings. Stores include chemicals, hardware, home-ware items, kitchen/cleaning items, medical supplies and stationery. See TECHNOLOGY AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS for the management of telecommunications and technological equipment such as telephones, facsimiles and computer hardware and software. See FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT - ASSET REGISTER for the monitoring and assessment of equipment with an economic life of over 12 months.
